Professional Blurb Writing & Rewriting
You've spent countless hours bringing your story to life. But when a potential reader discovers your book, you have just a few sentences to convince them it's worth reading.
Your cover catches their eye. Your blurb makes them want the book.
A great blurb doesn't just summarise your story. It sparks curiosity, builds anticipation, and makes readers desperate to know what happens next.
Whether your current blurb feels flat, you're struggling to capture the magic of your story, or you simply don't know where to start, The Indie Author Hive can help.
We'll find the hook, highlight what makes your book irresistible, and craft a compelling, genre-aware description that speaks to the readers you're trying to reach.
Because you've already written a story worth reading. Now let's make readers want to pick it up.

Your book deserves a description that does it justice.
At The Indie Author Hive, we write brand-new blurbs or completely rewrite existing ones to help your book make a strong first impression.
We'll focus on what makes your story special, whether that's the romance, the tension, the characters, the world-building, or the tropes your readers love.
Our goal is to create a compelling, genre-appropriate blurb that captures your book's atmosphere, sparks curiosity, and makes readers want to discover more.

Step 1 — Get in Touch
Email us at theindieauthorhive@gmail.com with the subject Blurb Writing Enquiry. (or click the button above)
Send us your existing blurb (if you have one), or tell us about your book. Include the genre, a short synopsis, the overall vibe you're aiming for, and anything you'd particularly like readers to notice.
The more you tell us about your story, the better we can tailor your blurb.
Step 2 — Confirmation & Payment
We'll review your enquiry, confirm we have everything we need, and provide payment details.
Payment is required upfront via PayPal before work begins.
Step 3 — We Write Your Blurb
Once we've confirmed your brief and received payment, we'll get to work crafting your new book description.
Step 4 — Review & Refine
We'll send you the completed blurb for your feedback. If you'd like any adjustments, you can request up to two rounds of revisions free of charge.
Once you're happy, the final blurb is yours to use!

We want your blurb to feel right for your book.
That's why every package includes two rounds of revisions completely free of charge.
You might want a stronger romantic angle, a darker atmosphere, a different opening hook, or more emphasis on a particular character or theme.
Just tell us what you'd like adjusted, and we'll refine the wording.
Revisions cover changes to the original agreed brief. Major changes to your book's concept, a completely new direction, or additional rewrites beyond the two included rounds may incur an extra fee, which we'll discuss with you before proceeding.
