The Indie Author Hive is a rapidly growing promotional platform supporting independent authors through structured, high-visibility book events and hands-on publishing support.
Founded in summer 2025 by Tierney Storer, a bestselling indie author, the Hive began as a writer support Facebook group focused on sharing real, working strategies from within the industry.
Drawing from her own success—selling over 100,000 books, generating millions of page reads within her first two years, and hitting bestseller rankings dozens of times—Tierney built the Hive around proven, current-market methods that authors can actually use.
By winter 2025, the Hive had evolved into a full-scale event and author services business, offering support across blurbs, keywords, metadata, categories, covers, digital artwork, and marketing.
After trialling a one-off promotional event in October 2025, it became clear there was a strong demand for structured, effective indie book promotion. The platform was rebuilt and officially relaunched in February 2026, with a clear focus: creating scalable discoverability for indie authors.
Today, The Indie Author Hive supports authors at every stage—from debut writers to established and New York Times bestselling authors.
About Buzzfest
Buzzfest is the Hive’s flagship monthly, all-genre promotional event—built as a large-scale “Stuff Your Kindle” / book blast experience. Each event features a curated mix of free, discounted, and Kindle Unlimited titles, designed to maximise reader engagement while giving authors concentrated visibility during high-traffic periods.
